The machine features a 15 bar pump pressure. There is a LCD display which makes operation simple. The unit is easily programmable. There are 3 brew settings, a choice for the amount of coffee per cup, pre-brewing, pre-grinding. There is also the added feature of an automatic rinsing and cleaning cycle - this machine does it all. If you wish to use a different language then there are 8 to choose from.The special Saeco Aroma System® programmable pre-brewing cycle allows the injection of hot water into the freshly ground coffee (or preprepared). This extracts the best and maximum amount of flavor.There is a 67 oz. water tank that comes fitted with an Aqua Prima Filter. The tank can be removed and the filter is designed to improve the coffee experience and taste. The machine is protected from lime scale build up.You can choose ground coffee or beans and you can choose the amount per serving. The built-in Conical Burr Grinder has 18 settings and also sports an automatic shut off. You can also eliminate the waiting time between brewing coffee and frothing milk via the Rapid Steam® system. A useful steam wand produces the hot water. Best of all - never put warm coffee into a cold cup - this unit has a Bon Temp® controlled heating surface for warming the cup first! There is an easy cleaning system which allows chemical-free cleaning and a drip tray that can be removed together with a container for used grounds.
