Coffee lowers liver disease risk

The AGA just recently published an article pertaining some facts related to Coffee and its affects with Chronic Liver Disease.  The Association did a study on those that were drinking heavy amounts of alcohol and then switched to coffee immediately and found that their livers healed much faster than if they didn't drink coffee.  Tea was also another drink that they used to see the healing effects with.  Because of this study, another one will be conducted across the US for those who are not heavy alcohol consumers

The AGA is not encouraging others to intake more coffee as of yet, since the investigation is still ongoing, but they hope that they can find what is curing these diseases faster and hopefully apply it to others trying to achieve the same affect.

Chronic Liver Disease is a condition that inflames the walls of the liver and causes them to swell leading to aches and pains that can last anywhere up to six months and is usually caused by great deals of alcohol consumption.  A great deal of people die from this disease each year ranging around 25000-30000.  Scientists hope to limit this number and look towards coffee and tea for the answer.
