Mr Coffee

Mr.Coffee was first invented in 1972. It was the first automatic drip coffee maker.

In 1975, sales increased dramatically from 1000 to over 30,000 a day this pushed it to the top of sales in the US. People were overjoyed with this modern convenience. Now people did not have to wait forever for water to boil, just for a cup of coffee.

Not long after Mr. Coffee came out with their own coffee filters as well. Also Mr. Coffee begin adding timers to their machines so that people did not have to wait long for their coffee. Let's say you were getting up to go to work at 7am, you could set the timer the night before for 6 am and not have to worry about getting your first cup of coffee in the morning. Most think this was a great idea.

In 1989, Mr. Coffee came out with a new idea which was an ice teapot. For all the tea lovers in America this invention was one of the best. Now people did not have to boil water, make the tea then wait for it to get cold. Later Mr. Coffee came out with another invention known as the Mrs. Tea maker. Can you just imagine people rushing to the store for this great item. I know I can.

By the year 2004 Mr. Coffee came out with its single serve coffee maker for those who just wanted one or two cups of coffee. Mr. Coffee is a great product for those who love coffee or tea. Did you know that Joe DiMaggio was the spokesperson for Mr. Coffee? A great combination I must say, coffee and baseball.

The Mr. Coffee brand later entered the Espresso category also. You can now buy accessories for Mr. Coffee like thermos flasks, cups, stirrers, spoons and, of course, filters. Mr. Coffee is like the first to set the pace for future coffee pots and tea pots as well as espresso machines to follow. Mr.Coffee is a great gift for anyone. College students, moms, dads, and teachers alike would all enjoy a Mr. Coffee pot. No matter if it's the iced tea or hot tea maker or the original Mr. Coffee maker.

In 2002 Mr. Coffee celebrated 30 years of great success. People love coffee more than any other beverage. So when you go to get your Mr. Coffee maker ask yourself a few questions. Do I want a large coffee maker or a single serving one? Do I want a stainless steel one or a glass one? Do I want to pick up some accessories to go with my Mr. Coffee?
